Newly arriving international students should become familiar with Rolla even during the Visa Process. Rolla is s small rural community located just around 100 miles from St. Louis and 150 miles from Springfield in the U.S. State of Missouri. The cost of living in Rolla is lower than most places for international students and the "small-town" environment is well suited for your academic success!

International Student and Scholar Services openly works with community organizations, businesses, and other parties to promote adequate services to our students and scholars. The Rolla community is widely diverse thanks to the participation we see from our student organizations and community at Missouri S&T.
