Virtual Advising and Document Processing
We hope your online classes are going well while you stay safe and healthy. As you know, although the physical campus is mostly closed, the Office of International Affairs is still open for business as usual and very accessible, even though we are teleworking.
We wanted to give an update on how we will be proceeding with advising, processing documents, and communications. Our virtual doors are open, phone lines available, and all staff can be reached via email and/or telephone. Please feel free to reach out to us at email@example.com or (573)341-4208.
You can now schedule advising appointments with staff members of International Affairs through S&T Connect. After you schedule the appointment you will be sent a Zoom meeting invite. If you would like to review documents during your appointment, please be sure to email a copy of the documents to your advisor before your appointment begins.
You can schedule appointments with the following staff members:
- Immigration Related Topics: Shawna Holle, Shari Hill, Amy Smith, Sarah White
- Sponsored Student Services: Eleanor Chapman, Jodi Hasekamp,
- Health Insurance: Rhonda Sherman, Susan Potrafka
- Study Abroad: Phaze Roeder, Susan Potrafka
- Intensive English Program: Dr. Thu Tran, Eleanor Chapman
For detailed instructions on scheduling an appointment through S&T Connect, click here.
Forms required by our office can be submitted electronically by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. We will accept electronic signatures and academic advisor approval through email. Electronic copies of our office forms are available here.
I-20 Endorsed for Travel
If you need your I-20 endorsed for travel, please complete this Travel Request Form and email it to email@example.com. If you need to travel while classes are still in session during Spring 2020, the academic advisor signature is waived. Students are not required to obtain an academic advisor signature on the Travel Request Form for summer session travel. We will coordinate shipping your I-20 to you with the travel endorsement.
Thank you again for your patience as we work hard to ensure all our students' needs are satisfied. We miss you all and look forward to hearing from you soon.
With best regards,
Amy E. Smith
