Mazoon College in Oman

In 1999, Missouri S&T established an academic affiliation agreement with Mazoon College in Muscat, Oman, a privately owned college founded to provide educational opportunities for women. Classes held during the day are for women only and classes in the evening serve both men and women.

Missouri S&T’s role has been to provide assistance in establishing the appropriate curriculum for each of the degree programs offered, develop course syllabi and textbook selection, provide library resources, provide faculty hiring guidelines, and provide help with many other tasks relating to the establishment and operation of a new college

Mazoon College currently offers programs in the following areas for more than 1,100 students:

Boeing and King Saud University

Missouri S&T, partnering with Boeing Co., provides Internet short courses in Engineering Management, Electrical Engineering, and Information Science and Technology to students at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

 Saudi Arabian Mining Industry

In the past, Missouri S&T has trained men involved in the Saudi Arabian mining industry on campus with both intensive English language training, Missouri S&T coursework, and internship placement in local mines.
