Please add your name on the list serve by visiting the Office of International Affairs at 103 Norwood Hall between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

SEVIS FEES

Beginning Sept. 1, 2004, a new U.S. Department of Homeland Security rule requires F-1 and J-1 visa applicants to pay a SEVIS fee.
IMMIGRATION PHOTO REQUIREMENTS

Beginning Sept. 1, 2004, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service requires photos for all immigration applications to follow the guidelines described in this summary: Photos for Immigration Applications.
SOCIAL SECURITY APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

On Oct. 13, 2004, the Social Security Administration issued new regulations regarding the issuance of Social Security Cards to international students and exchange visitors. Please see Social Security Administration Information Social Security Administration information regarding the guidelines.

In order to apply for a Social Security number, the Office of International Affairs must issue the following documents to all international students and scholars who meet Social Security card prerequisites:
