The Role of the OICA

The Office of International and Cultural Affairs (OICA) leads campus internationalization initiatives and is the campus resource for developing strategic international partnerships. From basic agreements to complex partnership programs, the OICA promotes and facilitates international linkage agreements for Missouri S&T, and maintains a comprehensive list of linkage agreements.

How to Establish an International Linkage

Academic departments and faculty sponsors who are interested in collaborating with an international partner can start this process by following the steps below:

Step 1

Check our list of current linkages to see if Missouri S&T already has an agreement in place with the prospective international partner.

Step 2

Once the need for a new or renewed collaborative agreement has been determined, academic departments or faculty sponsors should review Policy Memorandum NO. III-23 and Considerations for Proposed International Linkage Agreements to become familiar with university requirements and expectations. Step 3

Complete a Request for Consideration of International Linkage Agreement Form in order to facilitate preliminary review of the proposed agreement and submit to Dr. Jeanie Hofer at jeanie@mst.edu.
